About Maui Designs and the Jewelry Designer

My inspiration to start making beaded jewelry started on a trip to Hawaii.  I was so inspired by the lei making and the beautiful colors and scenery on the Maui Island of Hawaii.  This is also where the name of the business came from. 

The flowers there are unbelievably unique and gorgeous.  When I am buying beads, I am reminded of Maui and the beauty of this inspirational place.  There are so many different colors and varieties available to choose from, I am like a kid in a candy store.  I love designing new pieces as much as choosing the beads and products for the designs. 

I’ve been designing jewelry for more than 5 years and really enjoy it.  I have always been a creative person even from an early age.  I also enjoy nature, travelling, photography, gardening, painting, sewing, crafts and decorating. 

I draw inspiration for my jewelry designs from hobbies and the incredible memories from my trip to Hawaii.
